Catherine Hickem is passionate about challenging women to become the Godly mothers He calls them to be.
She understands the heart of a mother and gives women strategies that inspire, educate and equip them in every phase of motherhood.
The various roles of Catherine’s life give her credibility to speak on many topics with authority. She is a pastor’s wife, mother of two, a psychotherapist, and an executive coach in the corporate world. In addition, she is on the Women’s Ministry staff of one of the largest churches in America.
She is founder of Intentional Motherhood, a national ministry to women and author of an accompanying Bible study entitled “The Heart of the Matter is the Heart of the Mother.”
Catherine paints scripture on the canvas of women’s minds as if they’re observing the story in real time. Her passion for the life application of biblical truth creates a hunger in a mother’s heart to know God on a deeper level.
Catherine’s career as a Christian psychotherapist has given her a front row seat to share the intimate journey of women’s ives. God has used this perspective to impart wisdom, deepen her faith and further her resolve to share the power of Christ’s transforming love to women.
Her greatest ministry and deepest passion is her own home. She and Neil have been married since 1977. Her greatest teachers in the love and mercy of God have been her children, Taylor and Tiffany who are both college students.
